Financial Fitness February: Day 22

Moore Income
Got caught up on some sleep today since I have had late nights and early mornings most of the week. Didn't really do much work today but did have a couple of things that went down financially. 1.) Eating Out, Saved Money By Splitting a Meal My wife and I went out today. It was only the second time we have gone out this month which is great because we have been really trying to cut back on eating out. We will probably be going out one more time, tomorrow but that is going to be a family thing...Read More...

Financial Fitness February: Day 25

Moore Income
Today was a pretty good day. Not a lot of financial activity, however I was able to stay busy and get some stuff done. Here is what went down for the day. 1.) Got Some eBay Listings Done I was able to get a few listings done today and I also shipped out yesterday's sale. I have found that when I consistently list 2 or 3 items a day, I end up getting more listed over time than if I try to list a big number which I end up usually failing at. Doing this is encouraging me to just stay consistent...Read More...

what are the benefits of using a credit cardRead More...
The main reason most people get credit cards is the ability to make a larger purchase and make payments on it. Which, of course, builds your credit, which helps when you want to finance a car or home. As mentioned too, most have perks, such as airline miles, cashback rewards and other stuff.Read More...

You need to be sure to check out tenant laws in Nebraska, most places have pretty strict laws that favor the tenants now. If what he did was illegal, then he is liable for expenses you incur and possible damages. You could see if there is a lawyer who has a free consultation and can review your situation. There are a lot of bad landlords out there and they stay bad because no one wants to fight for their rights as a tenant. In OR, they have 30 days to get you an itemized list of why your...Read More...

Financial Fitness February: Day 21

Today was fairly slow financially. Not a lot happened but I will share what went down. 1.) Bought a TI 84 Calculator I was able to find a TI Calculator on FB Marketplace today and the seller was willing to take $25 for it. I will buy these calculators at this price all day long because if I hang on to those until school starts up again, I will be able to sell them for upwards of $80 to $100. I consider these calculators to be an investment and they are almost always worth picking up if you...Read More...

Financial Fitness February: Day 23 & 24

Moore Income
There are some days, no matter how hard you try, you just won't quite be able to accomplish everything you hope to. Yesterday was one of those for me. We had a pretty busy day with church and then hanging out with family and before you know it, time had flown by and the day had past without me getting around to writing my daily post. But that is a good lesson in and of itself, sometimes things just don't go as planned, especially with finances. So instead of worry about it, I figured I would...Read More...

Today I spent a lot of time working on doing bookkeeping for my business but I did have a few nice financial WINS to share today 1.) More Dropshipping Sales The sales continue with my dropshipping products, it is still things related to lighting. I believe it must be the time of year when people update their lighting both indoor and out because I sold one indoor lamp and two sets of landscaping lights. With each sale bringing in roughly $5 in profit, that's $15 in extra income and the orders...Read More...

Financial Fitness February: Day 15

Usually, the 15th would be the halfway point for the month, but since this month is a little shorter the end will be here before we even know it. Today I slept in and relaxed most of the morning, in the afternoon I went to a wedding and in the evening I spent a little money. Here is what happened: 1.) More Bed Bath & Beyond Sourcing I didn't intend to source more today, however, on my way to Walmart, I decided to check back in at Bed Bath & Beyond to see if they still had a certain...Read More...

Wednesday came and flew by and I am just trying to figure out how we are already half way through this week! Here is what went down financially for me today: 1.) Edited & Posted a Video A lot of my morning was spent on editing a video that I got done and posted this morning. It is taking me a lot longer than I wish it would to get videos posted on my channel, but I just have to keep in mind that it is a learning curve and the more I do it, the better I will get. 20 days of keeping track of things financially has really helped me to get a better perspective of my finances. I don't know that I would recommend everyone write out a long post every day as I am doing, but I would suggest keeping a daily journal of your WINS, losses and every day expenses. I really don't have a lot for today's post other than to say that overall it was a great day. I have decided to focus Friday's mostly on doing food delivery since it gives a nice boost to our income and it is also usually the best day to earn the most money doing it. So, for the most part, my day was spent delivering food, however here are a couple other things that went on financially. 1.) Things were pretty quite for me financially today. My wife and I spent $6 eating lunch with our siblings at their college. Other than that we just had to fill up the tank with gas again which cost us $16.47. The reason I had to fill it up again so soon is because I use quite a bit of gas doing deliveries. Even then, when you take off the cost of gas from how much I earned, it still ends up being a fairly profitable side gig. I still made sure to use a gas coupon at Holiday. Another slow day, as Sundays tend to be for me. Really not a lot went down financially but here are a couple things. 1.) Spent $30 for A Dinner My wife and I try not to eat out too much but this dinner is a little different. It is actually an upcoming dinner (on Friday) that our church hosts every year around Valentines day. The dinner is $15 a person. It is a time to eat great food, have fun and enjoy some funny skits. WORRYING ABOUT MONEY- A FULL TIME JOB

lori wulff
Making money, losing money, saving money. This subject consumes just about all of us daily. Its hard to live in the moment and feel good and live, when are mind is twirling around on how we are going to pay bills, have retirement, or maybe dinner next week. I feel if we accept what we have, what we can acheive, and where we are heading our day might have a chance to bloom. Im not saying dont try to better oneself , but accept wgat we can accomplish at that moment. Anybody feel this way??Read More...
Yes! I believe that gratitude is the key. Being grateful for what we do have, does not mean that we cannot strive to better ourselves, it just means to be grateful in the moment. And before someone talks about how there's nothing to be grateful for and how I don't understand dire situations, I do. I practiced gratitude (NOT even close to perfectly though!) when in the same 6 months I went though cancer, divorce, job loss, loss of house, move, bankruptcy, and more. I am grateful to be where I...Read More...
It is so true, money can become something that consumes our entire life, it shouldn't be that way but it is a subject that affects each and every one of us. I have come to realize that worrying about it doesn't help me at all, but that doesn't make it easy. I try to remind myself on a consistent basis that I am taking steps, even if they are just baby steps to go in the right direction to get my finances on track. That is why, I believe it is super important to celebrate our financial WINS...Read More...

Not having someone to bounce ideas off.

Jobelle Collie
I’m an older single woman and even though I’m a budget nerd, I feel uncomfortable. Having no one to bounce my ideas off of, leaves me guessing. Do other singles feel this way? Or do those with a partner who wants nothing to do with finances, feel adrift making all the financial decisions? I make errors in financial judgement, thankfully they have been small and the long term financial impact is low. I’m concerned that I’ll make a big one. Being frugal, I only pay for short, annual...Read More...

I'm really annoyed with family/friends entitlement.

Sorry, need to vent....... My husband and I have worked very hard to build a decent little corner in this world, although we do have mortgage/some cc debt/normal life struggles, we are "okay". My thing is that family/friends who have had the same opportunities in life, but obviously were not as motivated, think that we've "go it' and they're entitled to it. I've been frugal/saver/couponer/side hustler for over 20 years before my son was born and I had to tighten the family finances. Ive...Read More...
Kudos to working hard and being able to get nice things, and it's so sad that friends and family take advantage.
