Bank Accounts with No Monthly Fees

Hi everyone. I joined The Penny Hoarder because I saw an article about Banks with no monthly service fees. Well I have two more banks to offer. Key Bank and Woodforest Bank. I have checking accounts at both banks and I pay ZERO in monthly fees. I don't believe either bank uses the Chex System ( I hope that name is correct) because I have a POOR credit rating and I got a checking account at both banks without any issues. Oh I just checked and the checking account I have at Woodforest is for...Read More...
Welcome to the community @Della D and thanks for sharing those banks with everyone. @Bonnie Squires Credit cards can actually be a fairly effective way to build your credit. The key is to use them just as that, a tool. Having extra available credit especially if you carry a balance can help create a better debt to available credit and keep your usage below a certain percentage which in turn increases your credit. For example, on my account, they are only recommending one credit card to me and it is one that could potentially start me off with a high credit limit which would...Read More...

A little outside my department @Bonnie Squires . Although I like to cook occasionally, but also prefer game meat. It's so much more healthy than the meat from the butcher. Making an eBook can be done in a simple software such as a Word processor. The hard part about making an eBook is going to be the actual writing of the eBook. Depending on what you plan to do with the eBook, you may or may not have to change the formatting. How about a goal based badge system?
