Re: Let's talk WordPress plugins with a dash of Google

Plugins are the main reason I prefer building websites on the WordPress platform. They allow you to do add so many unique features to your website without having to write any of the code. Whenever someone asks me about starting a website, I always refer them to WordPress and tell them that plugins will help make your website do pretty much anything you could want your site to do.

Couldn't agree more. I too use WordPress, primarily because of the simplicity and also love the little magic wands called plugins. May I ask which plugin you use for SEO?

I have used All In One SEO in the past. Currently, I decided to give Yoast a try. Not sure how much I like it yet. I might ultimately end up switching back to All In One SEO. Have you used any plugins for comments? I have always just used WordPress' native comments but decided to give DISQUS a try. I have heard that Thrive Comments are also good but I think you have to use it with a Thrive theme.

I too started with All In One SEO, but strongly advise you to keep going with Yoast. Nothing wrong with All In One SEO getting started, but more and more pro bloggers (Neil Patel) are using Yoast. The Yoast SEO Premium is a little expensive, but an investment well worth the sacrifice (around $88 I think). I have learned much of what I know about blogging SEO from Yoast. Through the free courses they offer as a premium subscriber. SEO is about a whole lot more than the keywords, because there...

Haha I love the "click bait" title. The first time I clicked it I did so because I was almost mad to see someone posting something so ludicrous! But now that I actually read more, I see what you did there! Unfortunately, many people see the title of this post and their emotions set in right away and they throw their common sense out the window. Deep down, I think many people know it is too good to be true but because they are looking for the easy way out or are just really desperate, they...

Exactly the message I'm aiming to get through to audiences. And thought this subject line will do just that. Really glad you took the time to read the entire article, because I will never promise audiences impossible results. I am however highlighting the fact that these kind of subject lines are nothing more than a marketing tactic. Cannot agree more, so many people fall victim to the "instant riches" scams. Heck, I used to be one of them back when I got started. Which is also why I need...

Me too @Bonnie Squires , I tested more systems and programs than I care to recall. But it did leave me with an arsenal of knowledge to create compelling content. And yes you're quite right. My aim is to demonstrate how easy it is to fall in that trap. Idle promises is nothing more than a marketing pitch, and a rather successful one at that.

Let's talk WordPress plugins with a dash of Google

What are plugins and why are they important with professional blogging? Plugins are blogging tools and simplifies most of the more technical tasks with blogging. Like SEO (which is a nightmare to newbies), and https protocol issues which can make potential subscribers feel unsafe. But each plugin has a specific purpose, and the key is to use them in order to achieve a certain result. Or perform a specific task, like in post banner displays. How do plugins influence Google? Google is the...

For this demonstration and purpose, I chose this subject line for a reason. Because so many people fall victim to false claims and empty promises. A marketing tactic that is sadly quite grossly over exploited, but rather effective. You may even notice quite an impressive response to this article in confirmation of the tactic’s effectiveness. But in many cases, these claims are in fact real. What they don’t tell you however is the fact that making that kind of money online will take years to...

Advice Needed: Making Money using Google Adsense for Facebook

Wen Dee ·
Does anyone have experience using Google Adsense on Facebook? Good/Bad? I figured out how to do it using a website, however I am trying to do it with my Facebook pages I have. I have close 3000 readers on my Coupon FB Page and 1600 on my other FB page. I could build a website, however I'm not sure I'd have as many viwers, as on FB now. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
