Re: Credit Scores during the Crisis

Dear Penny ·
Thanks for your question, Theodora! I can't predict what lenders will do, but I can predict that A LOT of people aren't going to be able to pay all of their bills, or their credit card balances are going to creep up. And when this passes, lenders are going to want to lend money and give credit cards to the same people again, especially those people who paid their bills faithfully until this crisis hit. Think about how many people were able to buy houses again within a few years of losing...

Taxes and Mortgages - so much confusion

@Dear Penny Can you clarify what the actual relief/emergency policies are affecting taxes and mortgages? I think many people are very confused about what these mean for their situations.

Credit Scores during the Crisis

Theodora ·
Thank you, @Dear Penny , for your support! Some of us will likely have a negative impact to their credit scores during this time due to taking more debt or not paying off balances. Do you think it's likely or unlikely that lenders will become more lenient in terms of requirements related to credit scores for lower interest rates? Some agents are trying to shift to virtual tours, which may work if you're a real estate investor. But it's unlikely to be a good option when we're talking about something...

You now have until July 15 to file your federal tax return and pay any taxes you owe. If you live somewhere with a state income tax, you may or may not get more time to pay. Check out the latest on what your state is doing here . The IRS is still processing returns, so if you’re owed a refund, file a return ASAP to get your money as quickly as...

Thank you so much for your quick response. Yes, it seems everything with real estate is on hold for a while. I can understand that. BEST wishes for good health and safety in this time. On Mon, Mar 23, 2020 at 4:30 PM The Penny Hoarder Community < [email protected]> wrote:

to bid on. I personally have to see in person! But someone who flips homes might be interested. Hoping this time will bring prices down a little. Got me eyes on a small cute home for upcoming retirement! I am going to check with realtor to see if she will put me on her list to see home after corona virus is over. The home has been completely remodeled after 15 years.Take care. On Mon, Mar 23, 2020 at 9:34 AM The Penny Hoarder Community < [email protected]> wrote:
