After we close on our house in a couple weeks, my next goal is to pay our $14,000 in credit card debt down to ZERO! I think I should give myself a timeline...thoughts? Would that increase or lower my motivation?

If given yourself a time frame or dead line would motivate you
than I say set one. If you think it wont help you than don't set one.
With me I like setting goals and keeping to them.
I found a Money Buddy! I was wondering if you had any further instructions/info on the direction you would like to see this Money Buddy thing go?
For now, the goal is to get everyone teaming up, reaching out to each other and just talking more openly about your goals, struggles, etc. We're hard at work on some pretty cool stuff... maybe a separate group for all of us who are hard at work on financial goals... but I'll be able to share more soon!

I badly need a "Money Buddy". I am working on paying down my debts and to learn how to budget correctly and finance in general. My credit rating is deplorable.
