The MVP part was started a while ago and was for more active members. It was intended to be a group of users who bounced ideas off each other and helped make the forum a better place collectively.

However,  it never really went anywhere and became more of just a title for the most active members at the time.

I would still like to see it come around to what it was originally intended for but it would take a lot of work to get everyone on the same page.

As far as Community Advocate or Ambassador, I believe that is for people who work for The Penny Hoarder.

As the community continues to grow,  I am sure they will add more moderators from the most active members of the community.

Hi, @Leslie Kay Currently, the only automated status change in membership is from New Penny Hoarder to Member after initial sign-up.  MVPs and other Ambassador type rankings are still managed on a case by case basis -- based on the rate of engagement, quality of content and the willingness on behalf of members to make an on-going commitment to keep their presence in the community at a high level.  If you're interested in becoming an MVP, please let me know. I will follow-up with you directly for further information.  Thanks again for your contributions and your interest in the community.  It's what makes this such a great place to be.

@Theodora We're glad to hear that these things are still in effect. I would rather be asked than to try to push my way into a position such as Moderator, or Community Ambassador. I just like to be helpful when I can and if the company thinks I'm able to be of some use, then that's great. If not, that's fine, too. I'm here to help whether in a position or not.
