Hello Penny Hoarders!

I'm so happy to see a ton of new, friendly faces in our community. Did you know we have a whole thread dedicated to new members? If you haven't yet, you can stop in and say hi, and share a little bit more about yourself!

Here's the thread: https://community.thepennyhoar...ic/hello-new-members

Also, if you're having trouble getting started, you can click the Get Started tab at the top of the page and there will be plenty of information. As always, feel free to reach out to me or the community with any questions.

We're happy to have you here!

I enjoy reading up on building communities, LOTR marathons, ocean conservation efforts (such as volunteering), and playing with my puppy Thor.

Hi everyone. I'm from a small town in Texas. My finances I have never paid much attention to. Recently I've been reading a lot about investing and savings. My family is not much into this decade of What is savings? They are old school - back in the days save your money under the mattress. I want to be financially stable and save for any emergency expenses. In the long run I'd like to save to purchase my first home.

Hi Penny Hoarders, I am Ernest - a Feedback Writing Subject Specialist on an international platform. I have taught high school learners aged 13-19 for 30 years in Zimbabwe and South Africa; where I now live since 2008. I am searching for practical ideas to make money and pay off debt. I look forward to learn form the community and contribute something form my experience.
