Hello! Both my in laws are receiving social security and a retirement pension. My in laws were told in the past that they no longer needed to file income tax. They are both over the age of 65. Is this still the case? Thanks!

I am definitely not an expert on this topic but from what I can tell from doing a little research, it seems that it depends on how much money they make outside of social security.
