Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!

I wanted to ask: what are everyone’s Thanksgiving plans this year? I’ve heard all kinds of things from small gatherings with immediate family only to people forgoing the holiday altogether. I’d be curious to know what our community members have decided on.

In case you missed it, last week I shared that we launched a new newsletter. It’s called Smart Money Moves. It’s a monthly newsletter devoted to all things planning for the future: investing, retirement and so much more! Get on the list by updating your email preferences here (you’ll need to be a Penny Hoarder newsletter subscriber first) — and then keep an eye out for Smart Money Moves.

With that said, there have been some great comments and questions this week, so let’s help each other out:

@Misty shared that she and her husband may divorce. She’s an unemployed mother who needs a job asap. If you have any tips for Misty, please share them with her over on the thread.

@Max is new to the community and asked for thoughts around trusting fintech brands. Security is a huge issue in personal finance, so thank you Max for raising the question. If you have any experiences to share, please head over to the thread

Here are some of the latest articles on The Penny Hoarder:
