Hi everyone,

Hope everyone has had a great week.

Thank you to everyone who joined our first Dear Penny live Q&A!

We had a first in the community this week with our live Q&A! The Penny Hoarder’s Senior Editor and voice behind the personal finance advice column Dear Penny, Robin Hartill joined us to answer all your questions about credit card debt. The live Q&A is closed now but the forum is still available to our community, so if you missed the fun this week, you can go back and read Robin’s answers to our most pressing credit card questions

It’s not too late to join the no-spend challenge...

A few Penny Hoarders organized a no-spend challenge for the month of January. After a busy holiday period, January is a great month to reset. If you’re looking for a way to conserve your money this month, you’ll want to check out this thread.

We’d love your thoughts on these threads:

This Penny Hoarder-ing couple recently flipped their first house and it's slated to make well over $150k! They posed a question to the community: what should they do with the money? Head on over and let this couple know what you think they should do.

This Penny Hoarder is looking for a way to rid themselves of debt. They mentioned they don’t have the best credit score so loans are not an option. Does anyone have any advice for this reader?

And, if you’d like some weekend reading…

We could all use a little extra income. Whether you need some help with your bills, are chipping away at your debt or are just saving for something fun, a side hustle can be the perfect solution. But with so many options, it can be difficult to figure out which one to begin. We’ve picked the best, easiest, highest-paying and most legitimate side gigs of 2020 so you can start making some extra money — on your own time.

Introducing our member of the month…

Last, but not least, we have a new Member of the Month! @Jobelle Collie is from Montgomery, Alabama.  We are so happy to have her in the community. Jobelle describes herself as “frugal to a fault and a budget nerd.” We love to hear that! Thank you for your contributions to our community, Jobelle, and congrats!

Until next week!

Hi all love your emails

Thanks, Catherine! So thrilled to have you in the community.

Have you looked into developing your own free of course Penny Hoarders app yet?
Could be lucrative?  Js

This is such a great initiative from your Penny and Hartill's end. The finance team at Bikham would love to discuss more about the financial strategies and ways one can avoid credit card debt from growing bigger.
