When I pay my credit card in full each month do the credit bureaus acknowledge this and up my credit score? I have been told I need to have a balance carried over to the next month and then pay it off along with the interest in order for it to show up on my credit report. It seems to me that paying interest on a credit card defeats the whole purpose of trying to up my credit rating.
Paying early or on time will be very good for your credit score. I too pay off my credit card each month.

Paying the cc off monthly eliminates interest, which on many is sky high. It is the way to go.
