I just tried out Get Upside the other day. It is not available in my area but I was traveling so I figured I would give it a shot. But every time I tried to upload my receipt it would fail, and since there is a time limit, I wasn’t able to get my reward. Not a great first time experience.
I just started using a newly launched app that gives cashback for purchases with many big retailers and in the future they are introducing more local ones as well as a cryptocurrency that you will also receive some of with each purchase.
I would also recommend Dosh, I have been using them for a while now and get cash back. They also have a decent refer bonus.
@ana the cashback is not that much honestly and you have to have $20 before you cash out but most cashback sites have a minimum. I have had the most success by referring other people.
Kidazzler, super easy and I love the idea of building a kid friendly searchable database. We don’t launch until March, but my current potential monthly earnings is over $1500.
I use CoinOut, Fetch, Receipt Hog, and Dabble apps for easy peasy $. I’m also using several mystery shopper apps and have been successfully paid. Referrals would be appreciated and returned. Just send a message or FB message for links. Thanks
A lot of the cash back apps don’t seem to require you go to the app before shopping. You just link your credit card, forget about it, and when you happen to be at that store, use the credit card.
I have Dosh. I got $5 for signing up and just got 2% on a Sam’s Club purchase. There aren’t that many offers in my area, and some offers aren’t available from my local franchisee (Dunkin Donuts, for example, is listed, but my local Dunkin isn’t listed as a local merchant.)
Swagbucks has some shop local merchants, and there are other ways you can earn Swagbucks. You have to link a credit card. My husband just shopped at Savers and we got a rebate.
We did some work with Shopkick (I work at The Penny Hoarder) and I couldn’t believe how loyal their users are – they have a serious fan base! People who use it absolutely love Shopkick, so much that they sometimes spot each other at stores.
Something interesting I didn’t expect was that a number of the people we interviewed use the app not only to earn/save money (by earning kicks and redeeming for gift cards) but also to lose weight, because the app motivates them to walk a lot.
I would like more info on some of the apps that actually work or worth trying …son s I’ve tried in past didn’t really earn much of anything…I’m a stay at home mom looking for ways to earn some extra income …
You can do surveys and earn gift cards too. I have good luck on Pinecone and MyPoints and Microsoft rewards(I do their daily searches and quizzes. It only takes a few minutes in the morning and I earn enough points for a $10 gift card every month).
Ebates - earn money when you shop via stores on Ebates.
Ibotta is a great way to earn money while you shop.
Check out Fetch Rewards. Turn any grocery receipt into savings!
Shopkick - Earn points toward a free gift card while you shop in stores or online -
Get Upside - earn money back when you get gas for your car.
I can privately send you the links to the apps with my referral codes in which you will earn a bonus. Just let me know.
Are there any others that I should check out?
Have you heard of imoney? You earn cash, it adds up fast and you’re not doing surveys or scanning or seeds or anything like that. You’re doing simple tasks involving the Apple App Store. It is for iPhone users only and you can make extra for referrals on top of what you’re already making for doing the tasks. This is probably my favorite one and I’ve done a LOT of apps!
I use an app called SPENT Money, which is a cashback app. It gives 1 percent back at Whole Foods and also gives money back for Uber. And it does the data entry for you. It pays out via PayPal.
