Caregiver financial fears

Hello, My name is Starr and I’m here for ideas, tips, and reads. I’m 41 with 2 young Men age 14 on 3/16 and 16yr old. I’ve been out of work almost 2mnths straight taking care of my fiancé mom who passed away on 2/14/23 after a long illness from Covid. Needless to say he has been out of work since June 2022 and our finances has depleted completely. I’m looking for ideas on how I can make extra money without spending to make it. Can’t wait to hear from you all.

Welcome @Teneil81 – so glad you’re here. Sorry to hear about your loss and your current tough financial situation. Things will get better!

Are the driving apps like Uber, Lyft, Doordash and Grubhub an option for you? Another option is selling things you no longer need or use on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
