Are DIY Projects Worth Their Price?

If you have read any of my other posts, you’ll already know how much I love Pinterest! Pins that always catch my eye (but I rarely act on) are recipes for DIY laundry detergent, toothpaste, cleaning agents, deodorant, etc. They boast huge savings, but I am not sold. I wouldn’t mind devoting an afternoon during the weekend to create my own concoctions and I like the idea of controlling all of the ingredients I put in them. BUT, as we know, not everything on Pinterest works out. How do I know if these DIY projects are worth their price, time, and effort?

What are your experiences with DIY-ing household & personal hygiene products? Was it cost effective? Let me know!

I haven’t tried either but would be interested to know if it is worth it!

I’ve not tried any DYI soaps or any thing like that
But I do follow a family on youtube thats has said
it was worth it.

I know tooth paste will take the water marks off the
handles of the tubs,sinks i tried it before. Sorry some
times my memories isn’t that good.

Our daughter used baking soda and vinegar on our
stove and it cleaned it pretty good.
