best phone plans for seniors

I am on a tight budget and would like to find out what companies offer the best cell phone plans for seniors. Thank you .

This is not a senior plan, but I am loving Twigby! It’s about 14$ month and the service is alright. I heard about right here on PH.

@SHERRY ZEMBOWSKI,

Consumer cellular offers plans for like $25.00 a month. I don’t know your situation is, if that’s not doable, you could try for a free government phone. All that is needed is, a copy of your award letter(SSI, SSDI or SS)or a food stamp card. The amount of minutes per month and internet usage(the going rate is like 2 gig)vary. Some of the free phone companies offer you the option to add more gigs for internet and phone time. You can Google the free government phones and compare which one would meet your needs. I hope this helps.

The one I like the best is Consumer Cellular. you can get unlimited talk plan for as little as $20 a month. You can also get data added for $10 for 2G. I never use data since I use the internet. If you are an AARP member you get a discount.You can use your existing phone or buy one from them. You can keep your current phone #.

Tell friends and family about Consumer Cellular’s great no-contract service, including low monthly rates and 100% satisfaction guarantee. When they sign up for service, you’ll both get a $10 referral credit. use my name, Joyce Tatsch and we both win.

Excellent service.
