Unless you find a work from home job, you’re not going to make a steady income. There are options such as online surveys, selling online through eBay/amazon/Etsy/etc, freelance online jobs such as translating or freelance writing.
NONE of these require any money sent to anyone else. If you are doing that, then you will lose almost every single time.
