State leader Shehbaz Sharif on Monday pronounced a day of public grieving in the country for May 21 to offer appreciation to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and different dignitaries who died in a helicopter crash.
Raisi, a hardliner long seen as a likely replacement to Preeminent Pioneer Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in a helicopter crash in rocky landscape close to the Azerbaijan line, authorities and state media said recently.
