I am looking for a way to start a freelance side business. My ideal situation would be freelance bookkeeping as I have some, but little experience with QuickBooks. Has anyone started their own freelance business? If so, what advice would you have for a young beginner? I know it will be difficult establishing customer relationships… Thank you!

I would check out info on the Penny Hoarder about BBL, Bookkeeper Business Launch. You don’t need any experience with bookkeeper or QBO or anything. They teach all of it. You need to be detail oriented, like numbers and be a hard worker but it’s a great opportunity. I joined BBL in 2017 and the course is amazing, the Facebook group is the most supportive, helpful and encouraging I’ve seen on Facebook.
I can’t recommend it enough.
