@betty.brown The IRS will not take a cent of this payment for back taxes! As long as you meet the eligibility requirements, you get the full $1,200.
They will be send out april 13
I’ve also read they won’t take it - my husband owes back taxes as well. I was relieved to hear they weren’t taking it.
They will, however, take it for back child support. But not for any arrearages on any other government loan or debt.
I have read both 4/9 and 4/16 as the first date for direct deposit payments. What is your source of the 4/13 date?
