I’ve heard others make the same comments on both bonanza and on Mercari. My friends used to sell on Mercari but were banned, and they adhered to all regulations. I think it was because they seemed to be selling more than the others on the platform. On Bonanza, they never seemed to get any “traction” selling either. They ended up using another obscure site and sold them. I’ll see if I can find out what site it was.
I use Mercari, but I don’t make nearly as many sales there.
Update: Since I first posted, I have kept active on Poshmark. I have also joined their affiliate program, which anyone that has social media and has attained ambassador status can do. It’s usually $10 (or more if you have a huge following) in cash or credit for a post on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter and $20 for YouTube. I’m usually able to make a post every few days. I made an Instagram page just for Poshmark so my actual friends aren’t bombarded with Poshmark stuff and just my kid pics. For post that only pay with credit, I’ve saved it up and purchased resellers mystery boxes and shipping materials.
My granddaughter, came out of her bedroom the other evening with things she sold on Poshmark. I had no clue what that was. I always sold on Ebay. The girl is 17 years old selling her clothes and going to Goodwill and buying more to sell. She is making more than if she worked at a fastfood place. She is now giving me advice! And good advice also! Using her iphone6. Happy Poshing Crystal!
@cathy927 The youth these days seem to be more on top of the net than most of us old-timers. I’ve got neighbors whose children sell more on Poshmark than most people sell at a yard sale. I never knew there was such a place until one of my nieces told us she sold some of her clothes there. She made more in one week than she had made at her regular place of employment. It was hard to believe until I saw it for myself.
