Hello folks, I’ve created this forum with the sole purpose of helping you turn all those woodwork tools, home repair tools, garden tools, appliances, and other handy stuff you own into a money-making investment.
First I want to ask this question, “How would you make money with the tools you have at home?”
It depends on the tools and skill levels a person has. Small appliance repair, house repair, painting, drywall patching, lawn mowing and landscaping services. If you’re good at sewing, see if you can get tailoring work through a local dry cleaner. Give lessons to kids. Not sure what kind of clearances you would need, but basic skill sets are super valuable in the real world. Renting the tools out, if you’re brave. Checking to see if there are work bartering options nearby (Craigslist?).

Definitely a good point to consider also one’s skill level. You can even opt to teach in vocational schools.
Renting tools can be an option for stuff you’re mentally and emotionally prepared to rent out.
For bartering options, aside from Craigslist, you can also have a look at groups on Facebook. Really a good place to trade goods and service.
You could also become part of a homeschool group. Many parents are looking to teach their children real life skills, and may be willing to pay for that or refer you to others when they are asked for a recommendation of someone with your skill set.
