I’m not on Meidcare and I have what I would consider to be a good job. However, insurance is tough. I’m in NH and there are a pretty limited amount of companies to choose from. I pay 50$ now for an office visit and 80$ for my specialist. Insane. We can get better prices at a low cost facility, but it is over an hour away.

Do you have a Medicare Advantage Plan? That will help pay dental, eye doc, etc. Get a good insurance agent you trust.

Irishnanny–Look into a Medicare Advantage Plan. That does cover some dental-eye-etc etc. Depending on the plan, some have office visit co-pay to see specialists $50 or $40 or $30, etc. And many now have 0 premiums each month. Maybe you could find a good insurance agent you trust. Get a recommendation. Good luck.

thank you all, i do have Medicare Advantage plan, and i do use it all the time .
